I'm performing in a new Guitar Duo with Satyen Thaker of the band Jiva Train. (Satyen was also a guitar and composition student of mine for 6 years!) After Satyen sat in on several tunes on a recent gig, we were so pleased with the result that we decided to collaborate in earnest. Our recent show also felt great and got a great audience response. We're writing new tunes now, which we'll debut at our next show, a house concert at a beautiful spot in Boulder. Thanks to everyone who took part in my recent workshop "The Guitar, The Mandala of Tonality, and The CAGED Method." It was great to present some of the unique ways of looking at the guitar that I usually teach to private students, to a larger group all at once, and to get your feedback.
