Lessons inside Boulder’s guitar shop
My Boulder studio is in the back of H.B. Woodsongs, the shop that has kept the Front Range in wood and strings since 1971. I like teaching in a music store, and I think you’ll like learning in one. Come in a little early and play the guitar you’ve been curious about. Hand yours to the repair counter on the way in and pick it up playing better on the way out. Forget your capo? It’s twenty feet away.
A shop full of musicians welcomes you to the community. You walk past people playing guitars and talking about tone, students and teachers and parents with their kids, and by the time you reach the studio door you’re one of them.

Getting in
Walk through the shop to the studio in back. Before 10am or after 6pm, when the shop is closed, use the studio entrance from the back lot.
